Release 2.2.0 · 30 September 2026
Command Room
A new command-room look, more expressive build exports, and practical tools for preparing your next match.
A new look, with a familiar fallback
- Dark steel surfaces, new bundled fonts and seven navigation groups. Classic Studio remains available.
- Pin favourite tools and search units, maps, saved builds and guides from one place.
- Optional menu sounds and interface transitions have their own controls.
Build exports worth sharing
- Command dossier adds a full-width faction cover, a softer artwork fade, larger game icons and clearer rows.
- Choose four to seven steps per row, compact or detailed layouts, subtitles and 1600- or 2400-pixel output.
- Export team builds with player briefings and an optional planning appendix. Print or save a PDF from the finished export.
- Classic sheet remains available. PNG files are static; tactical animation uses the separate GIF/MP4 export.
Prepare, compare, remember
- Team briefing brings each player’s opening, role, route and support plan into one view.
- Save Unit vs Unit equipment, veterancy, range and assumptions; exchange .coh3compare.json files.
- Matchup notebook keeps local observations. Practice focus and My showcase extend the existing session and profile tools.
- Existing builds, notes, guides and personal media are preserved. New briefing fields are optional.
Verification and scope
- The original release was checked in Electron on Linux, including exports, navigation and 3,150 comparison scenarios.
- Windows installation, OBS capture and a real game session were not exercised in that environment.
- This release does not claim improved replay reconstruction or historical accuracy. Read the original notes for the complete verification scope.
Historical release notes are preserved. The current language policy is English + Polish.
